About the Supplement
Y Plan (named after the male Y chromosome), was created by Dr. Kath McCullough, an endocrinologist with extensive experience supporting hormonal health, and Dr. Oonagh O’Hagan, a researcher whose work explores wellbeing, sustainability and the cultural dynamics of desirability. The idea grew from a shared concern that men entering mid-life are often under-supported through hormonal changes — including the lesser-acknowledged male menopause (andropause) — despite experiencing shifts in energy, mood, libido and weight that can have a real impact on day-to-day life. Y Plan supplement aims to address this and enhance men’s lives.
About the Founders

She has worked as an art director at Tank magazine and in advertising at Mother and Saatchi & Saatchi. Her practice extends beyond fashion, textiles, and accessories to include photography, writing, and broadcasting, and she has collaborated with luxury brands including Chanel, Burberry, and Louis Vuitton, as well as publishing two successful humour books. In addition to lecturing at Central Saint Martins and UAL, O’Hagan holds a PhD in speculative fashion design that addresses sustainability and theories of desire, exploring how desirability, wellbeing, and more sustainable ways of living intersect.
Both founders, and mothers of sons.
